Morris men frequent the pub from time to time where they will dance on the lane outside, then come in to play some local folk music and drink a few pints of ale There is an annual duck race and Village Flower show fete plus many other events during the year in Chetnole and various other activities in surrounding villages. Chetnole is an ideal base to start and finish for walkers. There are many routes be it a 20 minute stroll or 3 hour hike.
